Refurbs & Remounts
We Refurbish Old Utility Trucks And Remount Old Equipment
We all know that mechanics trucks take a beating on the job site, but a lot of the time, they can end up looking a lot rougher than maybe they really are. Our shop team specializes in refurbing and/or remounting older equipment and giving it new life and a fresh look. Our process starts with a thorough evaluation of a truck's condition-- we look at paint options, Line-X options, and our Parts Department provides a complete breakdown of any parts needed to get cranes and bodies back up to speed. We try very hard to make sure all expectations are clearly laid out on the front end so the customer gets exactly what they're expecting at the end of the job
Once the customer decides how far they want to take the refurb, our team goes to work. Bodies and cranes are removed and taken to our in-house paint facility for anybody and paint work required. Once paint is done, equipment slides into our Line-X booth, where the toughest protective coating on Earth is applied according to the customer's wishes-- load space and workbench bumpers are common, but often times, customers will spray the front of their bodies to protect them from rock damage while driving; it's a great option, too.
Once paint and Line-X wrap up, it's back to the shop where our team of expert technicians goes to work installing any necessary parts installed and getting all equipment running like new. Sometimes the equipment goes back on the chassis it came in on, but we're also happy to offer remounts on new chassis, too. Oftentimes, the equipment we sell can outlive multiple chassis, and remounts are very common. If you've got a new chassis already, we're glad to use it, but we can also help you source one through our many dealer partnerships.
After adding any of our custom extras the customer might want, it's off to final testing and back out to the job site. So while equipment might look like it's on its last leg, we find that's often not necessarily the case, and we love to take on this kind of work. If you have a truck that looks like it's seen better days, set up a time for our team to evaluate it, and let us see if we can breath some new life into your old service truck.
